The 90% bio-based cactus material, an innovative and sustainable plant-based alternative, is grown using minimal water and without the use of harmful chemicals. This completely biodegradable material represents a sustainable choice over traditional leather, maintaining the soft feel of traditional leather while meeting Piquadro's high standards of quality and durability.
The PQ-Earth line is made of 90% bio-based material derived from fully biodegradable cactus and 100% recycled polyester, an eco-friendly material obtained from recycled PET bottles, GRS certified. To minimize the collection's environmental impact, Piquadro has also chosen sustainable materials for product details, such as plastic components and zippers, obtained from recycled bottles, marine waste, and used clothing.
